Domestic matters brought to the Court of Alderney are held in a closed Court environment. This means that members of the public or the press cannot attend and the Court will not disclose any information whatsoever regarding the matters heard. Domestic matters dealt with by the Court of Alderney include judicial separation and maintenance and custody of children. Divorce is dealt with by the Royal Court in Guernsey.
